Finding the Perfect Brick & Stone with Metro Brick in Dallas 🧱✨

Some choices in the building process feel extra exciting — like selecting the brick and stone that will define the entire look of our home.

Michael and I rolled up to Metro Brick in Dallas armed with a photo of a house I loved and a Pinterest board full of colors and inspiration.

That’s when we met Mel Specht, and let me just say — he made the whole process effortless. Mel took one look at what I had pulled together, turned around, and in no time at all, we had the perfect brick and rock combination picked out for our dream home. Just like that! 🙌

But it didn’t stop there. I had my heart set on old-fashioned brick tiles for our mudroom — something with that timeless, European feel. The problem? I couldn’t find them anywhere at a decent price, and I was about ready to give up.

Then Mel worked his magic again. He walked me into an office space right there at Metro Brick that had the exact brick floor I’d been dreaming of. 😍 I couldn’t believe it — the look, the texture, the feel — everything I wanted was right in front of me.
